Stephen Malone
Originally from Ireland, Stephen has embraced a journey of exploration and self-discovery since his late teens. His love for people and places has led him all over the world, immersing himself in diverse cultures and connecting with people from various backgrounds.
Seeking something more profound, Stephen walked the Camino de Santiago (a pilgrimage across Spain), a transformative experience that changed his life. With a longing for guidance on the spiritual path, he discovered a book by Ramana Maharshi that ignited his interest in Self-Inquiry. During this time, he also experienced some health issues that deeply shocked him to his core but opened him to contemplate his existence and life itself. He soon started a daily practice of meditation, which led to sitting in some retreats in the Buddhist tradition and eventually finding Hridaya.
After his first retreat in 2018, Stephen found his home at Hridaya and fell in love with the teachings of the Heart. He also found a passion for Hatha Yoga and completed a 200-hour teacher training at Akasha Center in 2019. Later, he became a Hridaya teacher, completing the 500-hour HTTC in 2020. Stephen lives and practices at Hridaya France, sharing his experiences and insights to help students on their path to Self-discovery.
