Stephan Lakshman Oesterreicher

Stephan was born and raised in southern Germany and began his spiritual journey early in life, learning meditation during his teenage years. Upon finishing school, he booked a one-way flight to India, where he committed himself fully to the study of mystical traditions such as yoga and meditation.

In 2007, he met Sahajananda in Thailand—an encounter that deeply touched his heart and marked the beginning of a lifelong devotion to the teachings of Hridaya. Since then, Stephan has spent over 500 days in silent meditation retreats, including many in seclusion. He completed the first Hridaya Teacher Training Course in 2011.

His journey has taken him to more than 60 countries worldwide. For several years, he lived in Peru, where he offered Hridaya-inspired silent meditation retreats in the Sacred Valley and on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Stephan is also the founder of MyPalmLeaf, an international organization dedicated to sharing the ancient wisdom of the Indian Rishis through the tradition of palm leaf readings. His work bridges grounded spiritual service and conscious leadership, integrating the teachings of the Heart into the mission of MyPalmLeaf and his life.
