Blanca Amezcua

Blanca’s quest began at a young age, leading her to explore various practices with the intention of knowing God. Her profound journey of transformation started when she encountered the teachings of the Heart through a meditation retreat with Sahajananda, igniting her longing for truth. Since then, she has cultivated a deep practice of yoga and meditation, which she pursued for several years while working as a general manager in the digital media scene in Mexico. This role marked the culmination of her career in managerial and executive positions in the multinational corporate world.

Delving into the non-dual teachings and the Consciousness of Oneness through contemplative practice, Blanca received a calling to dedicate her life to the service of the Heart. Blanca embarked on a transformative path, undertaking teacher trainings and initiations in yoga, meditation, mystical rituals, Tantra, and the Sacred Feminine in different countries. She received profound initiations from her teachers Sahajananda, Antoaneta Gotea, Claudiu Vaduva, and Simona Trandafir, and she’s currently studying to become a facilitator in a method rooted in an ancient Buddhist healing practice with Lama Tsultrim Allione.

Currently a member of Hridaya Yoga’s Pre-board, Blanca shares the teachings of the Heart in both Spanish and English, guiding students through Hridaya Modules and leading 3- and 10-Day Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreats in Spanish. She also regularly offers Tantra workshops.

In recent years, Blanca participated in two 49-day Prathyabhijna Retreats in solitude. She dedicates time each year to deepen her practice through silent, solitary, and dark retreats. Her deepest aspiration is to lead a consecrated life for the benefit of all beings, sharing teachings that pave the way to connect with the true source of freedom, spontaneity, and happiness—the Heart.

Throughout the past forty years, Blanca has wrestled with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). However, over the last nine years, she has emerged as a CPTSD survivor. Her unwavering determination led her to confront her emotions, learn to manage triggers and flashbacks, and fundamentally transform her approach to life.

Previously caught in a cycle of flight and freeze responses for almost four decades, isolated and numbing her pain, Blanca now seeks balance, knows when to let go, and is deepening in the art of regulating her nervous system, even in the face of lingering flashbacks.

Blanca’s journey into Self-Inquiry served as the catalyst for her healing, unlocking a wave of intense emotions, emotional flashbacks, and a deluge of toxic shame, guilt, and depression. It became clear that daily meditation or yoga alone would not suffice. Silent retreats, periods of solitude, somatic practices, breath work, Kundalini techniques, cognitive therapy, and self-regulation methods became invaluable tools for navigating the storm of emotions during flashbacks.

Learning to create a space between trauma, which distorts one’s perception of reality due to deep-seated childhood wounds, has been a challenging yet profoundly rewarding endeavor for Blanca. Amid the intensity, she discovered a wellspring of peace, love, and authenticity that continues to flourish within her.
