8-Week Online Karma Yoga Module
Grace Bryant
March 5 - April 30, 2026
“I cannot say it strongly enough: to integrate meditation in action is the whole ground and point and purpose of meditation.” –Sogyal Rinpoche
The Tantra Immersion School’s online Karma Yoga Module has been created in response to the genuine need and desire we collectively feel to work and act in a different way—a way that is more connected to Source, the Heart. No matter what “work” or “action” looks like in our lives, the liberating path of Karma Yoga can amplify the joy and freedom we feel as we engage with it.
This 8-week online module calls into question not just what we’re doing in the world, but more importantly, how we’re engaged with it.
– How are we getting through the countless actions we take every day?
– How are we relating to people in our lives?
– How are we relating to ourselves as people in motion in the 21st century?
Our inquiry will center on the concept of Karma Yoga, which means yoga (reuniting with our deepest Self) through action. Weekly practices (both sitting and gentle movement-oriented practices, which can be adapted for your body’s needs) will support your understanding and application of Karma Yoga in daily life. Teachings will provide a broad conceptual understanding, with multiple access points for applying this awareness throughout our daily lives.
The path of Karma Yoga is accessible to everyone who wishes to cultivate greater awareness, compassion, and centeredness. No dogma or religious beliefs are necessary, and all cultural backgrounds are welcome. We’ll learn both the traditional understanding of karma and Karma Yoga, as well as what 2026 looks and feels like for a karma yogi.
Our class meets on Thursdays, either from 9:30 am-11:45 am PST (morning cohort) or 6:00 pm-8:15 pm PST (evening cohort).
Weekly topics include:
– Meditative awareness in daily life
– Consecration
– Non-attachment
– Humbleness
– Sublimation of emotions into the Heart
– Forms of meditation & spiritual practice to support Karma Yoga
– Movement with the Hridaya Yoga Attitudes
Curriculum:
Our teachings in Karma Yoga are focused on the spirit and heart of our practice, topics like consecration, vairagya or “non-attachment to outcome,” and humbleness, as well as deepening our understanding of our essential practices: sublimation of emotions into the Heart, meditation to support Karma Yoga, and movement with the Hridaya Yoga Attitudes.
This digital world can leave us feeling isolated and unsupported in our life quests. Tantra Immersion School is dedicated to restoring a sense of community, accountability, reliability, and connection. We can’t wait to practice with you!
