Those seeking Self-discovery, a break from life’s hectic pace, and a retreat into an oasis of peace and spirituality can participate in this silent meditation retreat for the revelation of the Spiritual Heart. One of the great yogis known, Ramakrishna, recommends meditating for at least three days, three weeks, or three months a year. No previous experience in yoga or meditation is required.

The retreat includes guided meditations, guidance and recommendations for spiritual practice, and Hatha Yoga sessions. The necessary recommendations, methods, and practical meditative elements, along with lectures on various topics will be offered, including:

– Ramana Maharshi’s method of Self-Inquiry using the wonderment-question “Who am I?”

– Mystical vibration (spanda), witness consciousness, resorption of the feeling of “I” in its source, about the content and quality of the mind, pure Love as an expression of unity consciousness, silence as the substrate of existence.

– Deepening in meditation, using two methods from the Mahamudra tradition: “catching the agitated mind” and “stabilizing the mind in a state of stillness.”

– The four fundamental stages in the process of Revealing the Spiritual Heart.

– Techniques for calming the mind using breath control.

– Fundamental principles of spiritual transformation in Advaita Vedanta.

– Methods of translating from individual consciousness to Divine Unity Consciousness.

– Marveling at the beauty of the Spiritual Heart.

The program will begin on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 7 pm, with introductory notions, Q&As, and meditation. From Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, all participants will observe mauna (not speaking), as recommended in all contemplative traditions, in isihasm, in order to create the premises for good interiorization. Questions (in writing) can be addressed to the teachers guiding the meditation. The retreat will conclude with a sharing of experiences and discussions based on the presented themes, taking place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 6 pm.

The retreat is held by teachers with over 30 years of experience in the practice of yoga and meditation—Simona Trandafir, Liviu Gheorghe, and Sebastian Teodor.

Location: Hridaya Yoga Kamala Center, Sânpetru, Braşov.

For those who cannot participate physically, the retreat will be broadcast online (on the Zoom platform, with meeting ID and password).

Accommodation is in rooms for 1, 2, or 3 people, and the food will be lacto-vegetarian. No meat, alcohol, tobacco, or coffee will be consumed.

Those who participate online are asked to respect the specific conditions of a meditation retreat at home (as much as possible to maintain mauna, silence, limit social and online interactions, etc.), to keep the video camera open for the entire duration of the program and to participate in all sessions in order to enjoy as much as possible what this spiritual program has to offer.
